First, the Beer lineup for the Spring into June: Legerete Belgian Spring Ale - 6.2% abv The Mongrel - 6.0% abv FNA - IPA (Imperial) 9.3% abv World Champs Wheat IPA - 4.8% abv
The spring thaw has not come upon us
yet nor have the Red Sox thawed out from their numbing slump and
I'm supposed to think about summer already?
Hmm...let me think...well the spring
into summer always brings us to brew the crowd favorite of
"Clockwork Summer Ale - 5.2% abv" a beer quite quaffable even on
a rider mower!!! (spiced with orange, lemon and lime zest).
We will also have the return of
Belgians and first is the tribute to my canine gal pal, Sophie.
Called the "MonkeyMonk Saison - 6.8% abv", this beer has a
generous supply of botanicals that are propriatary to Aaron's
spice cabinet arsenal. About seven years ago we brewed a
phenominal fluke of a beer...(I say fluke because we couldn't
believe how good it came out...!) called "Jack Horner's Plum Wit
- 4.7% abv" (Lots of un-malted wheat and tons of plums) we are
gonna fine tune this and hope for a good crop of plums this year
Bakabow!!!... I am very excited to brew it! In late summer look
for a lambicesque version of a plum beer too!
Did I mention botanicals??? Then we
should talk about our first BPA or Botanical Pale Ale called the
"BeeJesus BPA - 6.2% abv" which was created with some good
inspiration and critique from the crew at the 'Corn... This beer
will "bee" brewed with all botanicals from our ever growing
garden that my lovely wife busts her ass and knees in! The
spices are a under wraps for now and will be revealed later!
Also look for our "LunarShine BurleyWhine - 9.2% abv", The
Return of the award winning " Bombed Blondeshelle Tripel - 9.8%
abv"...along with "BikingBob's Bohemian Pilsner - 5.2% abv"...
and to think I just read somewhere that Watch City never has any
new styles...you got any ideas after 145 plus styles so far?
Send 'em my way!
Touche!
