Dale’s Pale Ale brewing and canning in Longmont
Cans of Dale’s are now rolling out of our new place, which will handle all of our canning needs. We’ll soon be brewing and canning our other beers there as well.
The attached release has the nitty gritty on our new facility and the continued growth of our Canned Beer Apocalypse.
I’m also attaching a photo of the first cans of Dale’s from there, and a photo of brewer Eric Huber at work on our new 50-barrel system. The new gear means we can brew in one day what takes 2.5 days in Lyons on the 20-barrel system there.
I hope you can cover this news. Holler if you have questions or would like more info and photos.
Also, our Gordon was awarded a bronze medal in the Double/Imperial Red category at this past Saturday’s World Beer Cup awards ceremony in San Diego. Oh yeah! Get details on all of the medal winners from our beloved beer-making peers at www.beertown.org.
Since it’s Earth Day, one thing: By using lightweight aluminum cans to package our beer, we shrink the carbon footprint of our shipped beer by about 35%. For more details on the enviro bennies of aluminum cans, hit this link: http://earth911.org/blog/2007/03/27/benefits-of-aluminum-recycling/
Have a good day and thanks for any coverage you can do on our new brewery and WBC honor.
Cheers,
